I’ve finally finished publishing The Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles. It’s now available on amazon in paperback. There’s a pic of the proof copy below. I will release a kindle version soon, but I need a bit of a lie down now.

It’s All Covered
It’s been a crazy few days of trying to get the paperback cover uploaded to amazon kdp. When I’ve converted it to a pdf, it’s been adding a massive white space (thanks, but no thanks). I finally managed to sort it by pasting the original jpg into a word document of exactly the same size and then saving it as a pdf. Here’s a print of what the front and back cover will look like. It’s been a hard slog, but hopefully worth it.
Cover Up
Work’s going well on the paperback cover for The Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles. I’ve done the front cover and I’m pretty happy with it. Hopefully Amazon will feel the same. I decided to ditch the cheesy smile and cover it with a banner thing, and I think it works. Check out my progress below.
Headers and Footers
I’ve finally got my head around headers and footers (no pun intended) so now all the different stories of the incoming Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles will have their names on the top of the pages. It’s a small thing, but sometimes those things can make all the difference. I’m almost ready to upload the manuscript, and then it’ll just be a matter of making/designing the front and back cover, and the spine. Nearly there…
The Finishing Touches
I’ve nearly finished the paperback version of ‘the Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles’. This morning I went through the document and added a Q and A section and acknowledgements to the end. I also added the page numbers. Next time I’ll mess with the headers and add the names of each short story to the top of the relevant sections. I also need to add a contents page. Then it’s just the small matter of submitting the document and drawing up the cover using the template that kindle will send me. Sounds like a lot, but hopefully it shouldn’t be too long now before it’s published, and then I can get on with my other projects.
