Nearly Done With Editing

Hey there, readers. I’ve had a pretty good morning of editing the fifth Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicle: “Richmond’s Roadshow Revelation”. I must be weird, because I quite enjoy the editing process; hacking away at my work until it’s indistinguishable from the original mess of a first draft.

So it shouldn’t be too long before RRR is out as an ebook and shortly after that, the paperback of all five stories will follow. Should only be a few weeks till all that happens. I’ve got a definite idea for the paperback cover, but there’s no point in doing it until I know the dimensions of the book (mostly how thick it’ll be), because the size of the front, back, and spine has to be exact. Starting to get the new book nerves now, but looking forward to seeing what people think of the new material. I’ll keep you posted.

Latest Update

Hellooo, I’ve been pretty busy recently. I’m almost ready to publish the latest Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicle: Richmond’s Roadshow Revelation in ebook format. I’ve added a few extra bits to it and now I need to reread it to make sure it all flows together.

I’m up to part 3 of Good Neighbour, which I’ll be publishing exclusively on this website in different parts. Not sure whether I’ll release the different parts daily or weekly. Which would you prefer? Also, I’m very close to releasing the complete collection of Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles both in paperback and ebook. Got a pretty good idea of what I’m going to do for the front cover, but as it’s a paperback, I’ll need a back cover as well. I’ve got a couple of ideas rattling around in my head.

I’m looking forward to finishing the Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles, because then I can concentrate on other projects such as the Badger Helper Watcher (a long term children’s novel) and the Future Delusion Saga. I’ve published my ongoing progress with the cover of Richmond’s Roadshow Revelation below. Let me know what you think.

Cover Versions

Hello there. I’ve been pretty busy the last few days. As well as editing the fifth part of the Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles: “Richmond’s Roadshow Revelation”, I’ve also managed to come up with a half decent cover for the ebook. I’ll post it below. And speaking of covers, in an attempt to reinvigorate interest in my sequel to “A Christmas Carol” (“A Fifth Visitor”), I’ve designed a new cover for that as well. Check it out below and let me know what you think. This morning I’m going to edit “No Light” which you may or may not know is a short prequel to “Richmond’s Rarity”, the story that started all this madness. Anyway, I’d best get back to it.

Hellooo… Been quite busy recently with different writery things (is that a word? Heck, I’m a writer. If I say it’s a word, it’s a word). The best and worst thing about being an indie author is that you get to do/have to do everything on your own. You can pay to get covers done, but having several art qualifications under my belt, I feel like I should be using them for something, so I’ve been doing some fresh covers for Bright Future and A Fifth Visitor. I’ve also been editing Richmond’s Roadshow Revelation ready for publication soon. Been looking into the wonderfully complicated world of Amazon advertising as well. I think I’ve got my head around it now, but it’s just a matter of having the time to do it all. Anyway, best get back to it…

Quick Update

Not posted an update for a while. Sorry about that, but I’ve not been slacking, honest. I’ve mostly been going over all the Pulse Hospital Radio Chronicles and seeing how I can improve them, ready for the launch of the new collection of five stories (including the new one “Richmond’s Roadshow Revelation”). Still looking for inspiration for the cover, but I’m sure something will hit me sooner or later. Also been working on a multi-part story called “Good Neighbour” which will be published exclusively to this website each week for a number of weeks (maybe six?), so don’t forget to tell all your friends. Depending on how successful it is, I might make it a regular venture. Anyway, best get back to it. Goodnight, dear readers.
